PROJECT:

The CACHE app was conceptualized as a start-up by a group of entrepreneurs. The project which is still at its early funding stage is meant to address two critical needs in the financial services space: effective cash inflow management for individuals and businesses, and reliable escrow services to facilitate secure transactions. As the app’s creator, I, Ben Iyoha, spearheaded efforts in brand development, content creation, and marketing strategy. The aim was to establish CACHE as a trusted and innovative solution for users seeking to streamline their financial workflows while ensuring transaction security.

SOLUTION:

Brand Development:

I. Designed a cohesive brand identity that resonated with the app’s target audience, including entrepreneurs, freelancers, and small business owners.

II. Created a modern and professional logo, color palette, and typography that communicated trust, innovation, and simplicity.

III. Developed the app’s unique value proposition: “Simplify your cash flow, secure your transactions.” This messaging was incorporated across all marketing materials to reinforce brand recognition.

Tools: Adobe InDesign and Adobe PhotoShop. (I have a 90% proficiency in using at least 10 Adobe Suites).

Content Visuals:

I. Crafted visually engaging promotional content, including app mock-ups, explainer videos, and social media graphics, to illustrate the app’s functionality and benefits.

II. Created user-friendly guides and tutorials to showcase features such as cash inflow tracking, reporting dashboards, and escrow service workflows.

III. Maintained consistency in visual elements across digital channels, ensuring a polished and professional appearance that aligned with the brand identity.

Marketing Plan:

I. Developed a comprehensive marketing strategy that included pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases.

II. Conducted market research to identify key user personas and determine the most effective channels for reaching them.

III. Leveraged digital marketing tools such as email campaigns, pay-per-click ads, and organic social media engagement to build awareness and attract early adopters.

IV. Created a referral program to incentivize current users to bring in new customers, helping to build a community around the app.

RESULT:

Strong Brand Identity: CACHE launched with a professional and memorable brand image, making it stand out in a competitive fintech market. Positive feedback from potential users affirmed the brand’s appeal and clarity in communicating its purpose.

Engaging Visuals: The app’s promotional materials effectively captured the attention of its target audience, leading to significant early interest and social media engagement. App walkthrough videos and mock-ups received high engagement rates, with users expressing enthusiasm about the app’s potential.

Strategic Marketing Impact:

Pre-launch campaigns built a strong waitlist of early adopters who were excited about the app’s capabilities.

The referral program led to a 30% increase in sign-ups within the first three months, demonstrating the effectiveness of the community-building approach.

Marketing efforts resulted in growing awareness for CACHE, positioning it as a reliable tool for managing finances and securing transactions.

The CACHE app project highlighted my skill and capabilities in strategic brand development, high-quality content, and a focused marketing approach in creating a product that meets real-world needs while standing out in a crowded market. This experience underscored my ability to turn ideas into impactful, user-centric solutions.
